Index flow can be found in the Create tab under Index flow.
Why Make an Index?
An index is a very easy way for parents to find their children in the yearbook. With an index it's not necessary to search every page of the yearbook to find one student. The index also allows parents to find the photos that they may not have known their child appeared in.
What is Index Flow?
Index flow is a way to automatically create an index of all the people featured in your yearbook. The index is sorted alphabetically and specifies each page the person appears on.
How to Index Flow
Before you create an index ensure that you have all of your students and staff tagged in your photos. Learn more about image tagging here. Once you are satisfied that all student and staff photo appearances have been tagged you can create your index.
Start by selecting the page you would like to have the index start on. This can be done by scrolling to the page and clicking on it under the settings menu or by entering the page number in the "Start on Page" box.
Next, specify the settings you would like from the settings panel.
- Number of Columns
- Name Format
- Font of Divider and Body
- Font size
Click the "Preview" button in the settings panel to preview your index.
- The "Preview Pages" button in the Index Pages Preview panel allows you to see a larger picture of the index.
When you are satisfied with your index, click the save button to finalize it.
- You can redo your index at anytime by starting on the page your index is already on and repeating the above process.
